Amy to speak in Chennai Tamil in Shankar’s ‘Ai’
The shoot of Amy’s portion in Shankar’s Ai has been completed and she is now free from the stringent diet and socializing conditions put by the director Shankar. When Shankar cast her in his film, he is said to have put lot of conditions on Amy, viz. no parties, no late night gossiping, rising early morning and practice yoga, no liquor, and practice skipping daily, etc. Though Amy is free to indulge in those things now, she is said to be following the same schedules as she finds them keep her fit.
Another interesting feature is that Amy is said to be speaking in Chennai Tamil in the film. For this the director made her to learn the language so that her lip movements synchronize with the dubbing. The director is now looking for dubbing artiste who can speak Chennai Tamil as spoken in the slums. For this he has asked his assistant to record the how the people speak in slums without their knowledge, to help the dubbing artiste to speak on those rhythm and tone.
