வெகு விரைவில் திரைக்கு வரப்போகிறது ‘இரண்டாம் உலகம்’. செல்வராகவன்-பி.வி.பி சினிமா- ஆர்யா- அனுஷ்கா-ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ்- அனிருத் என்று படம் முழுக்க பளபள அம்சங்கள் இருக்க, ‘வி ஆர் வெயிட்டிங்’ என்று ரசிகர்களும் காத்திருக்கிறார்கள் அந்த நாளுக்காக. முகூர்த்தத்திற்கு முன்னதாக கேட்கும் மேள சப்தம் போல, ரிலீசுக்கு அருகில் பிரஸ்சை மீட் பண்ணியது செல்வராகவன் அண் கோ. ஒரு புறத்தில் ஆர்யா, மறுபுறத்தில் அனுஷ்கா அமர்ந்திருக்க, கூலிங் கிளாசை ஊடுருவிக் கொண்டு முகம் பார்த்து பேச ஆரம்பிக்கிறார் செல்வராகவன். பதில்களில் கவனம் பளிச்சிடுகிறது.
எடுத்த எடுப்பிலேயே ஒரு நிருபர் இப்படி ஆரம்பித்தார். ‘ஆர்யாவையும் அனுஷ்காவையும் நேற்று அந்த நட்சத்திர ஓட்டலில் பார்த்தேன். அவங்க ரெண்டு பேரோட கெமிஸ்ட்ரியும் எப்படியிருக்கு?’ ஆஹா… பார்த்துட்டீங்களா என்பது போல ஆர்யா சிரிக்க, அதே சிரிப்போடு மைக்கை வாங்கினார் அனுஷ்கா. ‘படத்துல எங்களுக்கு கெமிஸ்ட்ரி நல்லா வொர்க்கவுட் ஆகியிருக்கு. மற்றபடி வெளியில் சுத்துறதையெல்லாம் வச்சு கெமிஸ்ட்ரிய முடிவு பண்ணக் கூடாது’ என்றார்.
செல்வராகவன் கடந்த சில வாரங்களுக்கு முன் வார இதழ் ஒன்றுக்கு அளித்த பேட்டியில், ‘அனுஷ்கா என் தங்கை மாதிரி’ என்று கூறியிருந்தார். இதை நினைவுபடுத்திய பிரஸ், ‘எப்படிங்க அனுஷ்காவை தங்கச்சின்னு சொல்ல மனசு வந்தது?’ என்று கேட்க, வெட்கம் கொப்பளித்தது அனுஷ்கா முகத்தில். திடுக்கிட்ட செல்வராகவன், ‘அவங்களை விட நான் வயசுல பெரியவன். தங்கச்சின்னு சொல்றதுல என்ன தப்பு? ’ என்றார் கேள்வியின் கிடுக்கிப்பிடி புரியாமல். நல்லவேளையாக படம் பற்றியும் நாலு கேள்விகளை கேட்க ஆரம்பித்தார்கள்.
இந்த படம் ‘ஆயிரத்தில் ஒருவன்’ மாதிரி வரலாற்று கதையல்ல. இது முழுக்க முழுக்க கற்பனையான பேன்ட்டசி படம். ஆர்யாவும் அனுஷ்காவும் இன்னொரு உலகத்தில் சந்திக்கிற கதை. அதுக்காக இன்னொரு பிளாநெட்னு நினைக்க வேண்டாம். அது வேற ஒரு உலகம். அவ்வளவுதான் என்றவரிடம், பின்னணி இசை சேர்ப்புக்கு ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜை விட்டுட்டு அனிருத்தை பிக்ஸ் பண்ண என்ன காரணம் என்ற கேள்வி வந்தது. தயாரிப்பாளரோட நலன் கருதிதான் அந்த முடிவை எடுத்தோம். ரிலீஸ் தேதியை குறிச்சாச்சு. ஆனால் ஹாரிசால் அந்த தேதிக்குள் முடிக்க முடியாது போலிருந்துச்சு. அதனால் அனிருத்தை பயன்படுத்திகிட்டோம். சின்ன சின்னதா நாலு பாடல்களும் போட்டுக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் அனிருத் என்றார் செல்வராகவன்.
உங்களுக்கு பிடிச்ச ஹீரோயின் யாரு என்று ஆர்யாவிடம் கேட்கப்பட்ட கேள்விக்கு, ‘என்னோட நடிச்சவங்க பற்றிதானே கேட்கிறீங்க’ என்ற ஆர்யா, பளிச்சென்று சொன்னார் ‘நயன்தாரா’ என்று.
அப்படியென்றால் அனுஷ்கா கோவிச்சுக்க மாட்டாரா?
‘இரண்டாம் உலகம் ரிலீசுக்கு பிறகு கேட்டால் நான் அனுஷ்கான்னு சொல்லுவேன்’ என்றார் ஆர்யா. (இப்படி பேசி பேசியே எல்லா பூந்தோட்டங்களையும் மேயுதே ஆடு)
Irandam Ulagam team meet the press
The long awaited Selvaraghavan’s film Irandam Ulagam is set to hit the screens on 22nd Nov. The team met the press on 13th Nov. as part of their promotional campaign. Before the meet began, the press raised casual queries about Arya-Anushka chemistry on and off the film to which Anushka quipped that the chemistry worked out well in the film, but there is no chemistry off the film. Director Selva said that being elder to Anushka he called her as his sister, when asked why he called her as his sister. The press meet began and here are some of the excerpts:
Arya:
Speaking about the film Arya said that it was a very expensive and high budget film, and Selva could have easily cast a big hero in the film. He thanked the director for reposing the confidence in his ability and cast him in the film. The film was shot for 90 days in Georgia and there was no complaint from anyone on the longest schedule, he added. On a lighter vein, he said Nayanthara is his favourite star, but after the release of Irandam Ulagam, he would say it is Anushka.
Anushka said that Irandam Ulagam is a visual marvel with romance intertwined nicely. The director put his imagination and creativity in the film, and it would be thoroughly enjoyable film, she added.
Finally, director Selva said, many would not have ventured to filming the script, but the producer without any hesitation consented to produce the film, while he took it as a challenge to make it a magnum opus. The film is a fantasy one. Arya meets Anushka in another part of the world forms the crux of the narration, he revealed. Anirudh has scored 4 small bit songs in the film. Looking into the producer’s difficulty and also as Harris Jayaray was pre-occupied with other assignments, Anirudh was roped in to do the BGM, Selva added.
