Director Balakrishnan of Rummay praise Gayathri’s dedication
Gayathri is not new to Kollywood as she had done about half a dozen films here, before she has been promoted to play one of the leads in Rummy. Balakrishnan the director of the film praised Gayathri’s dedication during the shoots. He said when he approached Gayathri to play one of the leads in the film, she was munching something and listening the script casually. Nevertheless when she visited the shooting spot, she was dedication personified. Her focus and concentration to the minute details and delivering the scenes with desired expressions were exemplary, said Balu. Gayathri said that she was little upset when Balu sir told me it is a village subject, but after hearing the story she was more inclined to do the role herself and gave him the consent.
Inego Prabhakar and Vijay Sethupathi are the two heroes in the film which will be a romantic comedy. Prabhakar says Vijay despite his success and fame was great having agreed to play the lead with a new comer like him.
Aishwarya who played one of the leads in Attakathi, is the other heroine in the film, but she did not speak anything either on the film or about her character – a strange act for an upcoming artiste.
