இந்த படம் ஓடலேன்னா ரெஸ்ட்ராரென்ட் வைச்சு பொழச்சுக்கலாம்னு இருந்தேன்! ஜீவா விரக்தி

‘என்றென்றும் புன்னகை’ படத்தின் சக்சஸ் மீட் இன்று! சிவப்புப் புறாவாக த்ரிஷா வந்திறங்க, ‘இத பார்றா எவ்ளோ அழகான த்ரிஷா?’ என்று புகைப்படக்காரர்கள் அள்ளி நிரப்பிக் கொண்டார்கள் தங்கள் கேமிராக்களை. ஒரு வெற்றி யாராக இருந்தாலும் அவரை மேலும் அழகாக்கும் என்பதை மீண்டும் ஒரு முறை நிரூபித்தார் த்ரிஷா. ‘ஒரு பிக்னிக் போன மாதிரிதான் இருந்தது இந்த படத்துக்காக நாங்க சுவிஸ் போயிருந்த அனுபவம்’ என்று சொன்ன த்ரிஷா, சந்தானத்தை ‘சாண்டி’ என்று அழைத்ததுதான் ஒரு விதமான ரம்யம். அதை நேரடியாக கேட்க கொடுத்து வைக்கவில்லை அந்த சாண்டிக்கு! ஏன்? ‘வெற்றி மீட்டாவது, தோல்வி மீட்டாவது? எனக்கு ஆயிரம் வேலை கெடக்குப்பா’ டோனைதான் கடைபிடித்தார் இந்த பிரஸ்மீட்டிலும்!

அவர் வராவிட்டால் என்ன? அவரது இடத்தை நிரப்பினார்கள் வினய்யும் ஜீவாவும். ‘இந்த படத்துல நாசர் சார் ஆஸ்பிடல்ல இருக்குற சீன். பொதுவாகவே ஆஸ்பத்திரி சீன் என்றால், ஒரு பக்கம் எல்லாரும் அழுதுகிட்டு இருப்பாங்க. அந்த மூடுக்கு நம்மளையும் கொண்டு வரணும். இந்த மாதிரி காட்சிகளில் நடிக்கணும்னா ரொம்ப போரடிக்கும். அப்ப எங்களுக்குள்ள இப்படிதான் பேசிகிட்டோம். இந்த படம் ஓடலேன்னா வினய் சந்தானத்துக்கு மேனேஜர் ஆகிடட்டும். நான் ஏதாவது ரெஸ்ட்ராரெண்ட் வச்சு பொழச்சுக்கலாம் என்று இருந்தேன். என்றென்றும் புன்னகைன்னு பேர் வச்சுட்டு படம் முழுக்க என்னை சிடுசிடுன்னு காட்டுறீங்களேன்னு அகமதுவிடம் கோவிச்சுகிட்டேன்’ என்றார் ஜீவா.

‘இந்த படத்தை முடிக்கறதுக்குள்ள ரத்த கண்ணீர் வடிச்சுட்டேன்’ என்றார் படத்தின் இயக்குனர் அகமது. ‘நான் ஜீவாவிடம் கதை சொல்லி கமிட் பண்ணிய பிறகு நிறைய பேர் அவரை சந்தித்து இந்த படத்துல நடிக்காதே என்று சொல்லியிருக்காங்க. அதையெல்லாம் மீறிதான் அவர் என் மேல் நம்பிக்கை வச்சார் ’ என்றார் அவர். (ஜீவா பேச்சுல அப்படி எதுவும் தெரியலையே பாஸு… ?)

இந்த படத்துக்கு முதல்நாள் ஓப்பனிங்கே இல்லை. பட்… தினமும் கூட்டம் அதிகரிச்சுகிட்டே வருது. அதுக்கு காரணம் பிரஸ்சோட ரிவ்யூதான் என்றார் ஹாரிஸ் ஜெயராஜ்.

If the film flopped I was planning to start a restaurant – Jiva

The Endrendrum Punnagai team hosted a press meet celebrating the success of the film. Trisha was the pick of the team which was shown in her alluring smile portraying the natural beauty. Barring for Santhanam the rest of the cast and crew participated in the event.

Speaking at the event Jiva said that he was happy with the success of the film. He revealed that he and Vinay were planning to change their profession if this film failed, saying that Vinay to become ‘Manager’ for Santhanam and I have decided to start a restaurant as part of my future career. Thanks to the director the film was accepted by everyone.

Director Ahmed said though he got the commitment from Jiva to act in the film, there were several others who advised him against acting in the film. Jiva has reposed faith on me and my script and completed the film.

Trisha said that while they went abroad for shooting schedules, she felt as if she was on a vacation and picnic. She referred Santhanam as Sandy during her speech.

Music director Harris Jayaraj has said that though the film did not have good opening, the crowd started pouring in to the theatres due to good reviews by the press and word of mouth.
