Ko girl Karthika has not been able to sustain or keep her position in tact, despite her best ‘efforts’ and the strong inflence her mother weilds in the industry. Karthika could not get a film of potence to take her to the next level. Disgusted mother, has decided to get her married now. She seems to have alerted her former colleagues during the recent Indian Cinema Centenary celebrations held at Chennai, to find a bridegroom for Karthika. The matromonial request has come to streets. While we are sad for Karthika, we wonder, how and why Radha behaves like a conservative mother of 19th century. Having been in the cine filed for quite a long time, she ought to have advised her daughter that success and failure in cinema comes alternatively and one has to wait for success to come and embrace them. Instead of advising Karthiga not to lose heart and to be postive, she is literally giving her a punishment by planning to get her married!
