Attakathi Ramesh and Ranjith teamed up to do a film with Gnanavel Raja’s production banner. The film was titled as Kaali, and the shooting too commenced. But there were hitches from known and unknown sources, suggesting the Kaali team to change the title. No this was not from any ethnic group or religious group. They pointed out few decades ago, a film with title ‘Badhrakali’ was made, and during the shooting time itself, its heroine, Rani Chandra was dead in an air accident.
