வாக்கு கொடுப்பதை ஏதோ பாக்கு கொடுப்பது போல சாதாரணமாக கொடுத்துவிட்டு சைலன்ட்டாக ஒதுங்கிவிடுகிற வழக்கம் சூர்யாவுக்கு முன்பு இருந்ததில்லை. ஆனால் அப்படி ஒரு சூழ்நிலைக்கு அவரை தள்ளிவிட்டது கவுதம் மேனனின் கால்குலேஷன். வெங்கட் பிரபுவுக்கும் அதே கதிதான் என்று இன்டஸ்ட்ரி வேதம் ஓதிக் கொண்டிருக்க, இவர்களின் காம்பினேஷனில் வரப்போகும் படத்திற்கு டைட்டில் வைத்து ‘தடபுடல்’ பண்ணிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாராம் வெங்கட் பிரபு.
பிரியாணியின் ரிசல்ட் எப்படியோ, அதற்கேற்பதான் சூர்யா இவருக்கு கால்ஷீட் கொடுப்பார் என்று கூறியவர்களின் வாய்க்கு பிளாஸ்த்திரிதான் பதில். வேறொன்றுமில்லை, இந்த செய்திக்கு இப்போதும் உயிர் தண்ணி ஊற்றியிருக்கிறாராம் சூர்யா. வெங்கட்பிரபுவிடம் ஸ்கிரிப்டை முழுசா ரெடி பண்ணுங்க என்று கூறியதுடன். அவ்வப்போது படம் குறித்த ஆலோசனைகளிலும் ஈடுபடுகிறார்களாம் இருவரும். அப்படியொரு ஆலோசனை நேரத்தில் உருவானதுதான் ‘கல்யாண ராமன்’ என்ற தலைப்பும்.
இந்த படத்தில் இரு வேடத்தில் நடிக்கவிருக்கும் சூர்யா, கல்யாண ராமன் என்ற இந்த தலைப்பை ரொம்பவே ரசித்தாராம். அவர் காமெடி வேடத்தில் நடித்து பல வருடங்கள் ஆகிவிட்ட காரணத்தால் இந்த படத்தை முழுக்க முழுக்க காமெடியாகவே உருவாக்கவிருக்கிறார்களாம்.
வெங்கட்பிரபு இதற்கப்புறமும் வைக்கப் போகும் புள்ளிகளில்தான் அடங்கியிருக்கிறது, கிடைக்கப்போவது அலங்கோலமா, அலங்கார கோலமா என்பது!
Suriya-Venkat Prabhu film titled as Kalyana Raman
Director Venkat Prabhu though announced his project with Suriya confidently, he had fears as his film with Karthi was not released then and was hoping that it should do good at the Box Office. Also, Suriya seems to have developed his inhibitions about selecting and fine tuning the script presented to him, more so after his disaster he had with Gautham Menon earlier. On those lines, he asked Venkat to prepare the full script and show him. Venkat’s fear doubled that it should not go the way Gautham’s was.
Now, Biriyani is declared as a hit by the producers and distributors, Venkat Prabhu is a happy man and his status has been elevated after back to back hits, Mankatha and Biriyani. Armed with the success, Venkat met Suriya to discuss about the script he has woven.
During one such occasion of their discussion, came the idea of the title ‘Kalyana Raman’ on which title Kamal earlier gave a super hit. Suriya was impressed with the title and asked Venkat to make sure the film is a comedy based one. Suriya has not done any comedy films recently and so he was particular that his film with Venkat should be a comedy based one.
We hope Venkat Prabhu would made it hat-trick with Suriya with a thriller entwined with comedy, as Venkat is known for.
