சிரிக்கத் தெரிந்த ஒரே உயிரினம் மனித இனம்மட்டும் தான். சிரிக்கத் தெரியாதவனுக்கு பகல் பொழுதும் இருட்டே என்கிறார் திருவள்ளுவர்.
சிரிக்காத நாட்களை வாழாத நாட்களாகவே கணக்கிட வேண்டும். இன்று மனஅழுத்தம் போக்க செலவில்லாத மருந்து நகைச்சுவைதான்.சிரிப்பு ஒன்றே சோர்வு நீக்கும் தீர்வைத் தரும். புத்துணர்ச்சி தரும். எனவேதான் இப்போதெல்லாம் சிரிக்க வைக்கும் படங்கள் சிறப்பான வெற்றி பெறுகின்றன. அந்த வகையில் ஒரு ‘நான்ஸ்டாப் காமெடி’ படமாக உருவாகியிருக்கிறது. ‘பாலக்காட்டு மாதவன்’.படம் பற்றி இயக்குநர் சந்திரமோஹன் பேசும் போது
”எப்போதெல்லாம் ஒரு படம் குடும்பக்கதையாக கல கலப்பாக கலர் புல்லாக இருக்கிறதோ அப்போது அது நிச்சயமான வெற்றிக்கு உத்திரவாதம் தரும் .அப்படி ஒரு படமாகத்தான் உருவாகியுள்ளது’பாலக்காட்டு மாதவன்’.
இது பாச உணர்வையும் நகைச்சுவையையும் சம முன்னுரிமை தந்து கலந்து உருவாக்கப் பட்டுள்ளது.”என்றார்.
படத்தின் தலைப்பு பற்றிக் கூறும் போது ” ‘பாலக்காட்டு மாதவன்’ கே. பாக்யராஜ் அவர்களால் உருவாக்கப்பட்ட பாத்திரம். அது அவ்வளவு தூரம் அனைவரையும் சென்றடைந்தது. அந்த பாத்திரம் என்னை மிகவும் கவர்ந்து அதை இந்தப் படத்துக்கு வைத்திருக்கிறேன். ” என்றார்.
படத்தின் கதை பற்றிக் கேட்ட போது ” ஒரு சாதாரண மனிதனின் கதைதான் இது. அவன் ஒரு அம்மாவைத் தத்தெடுக்கிறான். அதன் பிறகு வரும் பிரச்சினைகள் சுவாரஸ்ய சம்பவங்கள்தான் கதை. மகனாக விவேக்கும் அம்மாவாக செம்மீன் ஷீலாவும் நடித்துள்ளனர். ” என்கிறார் இயக்குநர் சந்திரமோஹன்
ஏற்கெனவே ஸ்ரீகாந்த்தேவா இசையில் ஆடியோ வெளியாகி நல்ல வரவேற்பை பெற்றுள்ளது. வயிறு குலுங்க விலாநோக சிரிக்க வைக்கும் விதமாக இப்படம் உருவாகியுள்ளது.

Humour remains to be an integral element of everyone’s lives but gets diminished everyday pressures encountered. It remains to be a refreshing moment when we are endowed with some breezy entertainers that offer irresistible laughter. They break down our stress and enliven our spirits and when humour gets tagged with emotions, it gains more mileage. Especially, when a movie is made based on family and sentiments in the backdrops of humour, it’s sure to bestow with good feelings.
Director Chandra Mohan expressing the theme of this film says, “The film is about an ordinary man (Vivek) who adopts a mother (played by Chemeen Sheela) and the problems that occur aftermath. Although the film is based on more humour, emotions would have equally get its prominence.”
Getting to speak about the title ‘Palakkad Madhavan’, he adds, “As known to everyone, the character is inspired from the characterisation of K. Bhagyaraj in ‘Andha Yezhu Naatkal”.
The audio songs composed by Srikanth Deva is already getting decent reviews and Palakkad Madhavan will be arriving as a fabulous rib-tickling entertainer soon in theatres.
