‘தலைவா’ படம் நஷ்டம். அந்த நஷ்டத்தை சரி செய்துவிட்டு ஜில்லாவை வெளியிடுங்கள் என்று அந்த நேரத்தில் அராத்து பண்ணிய அத்தனை பேரிடமும், ‘கணக்கு வழக்குகளை முறையா கொண்டு வாங்க. நீங்க சொல்றது சரியா இருந்தா திருப்பி தர்றேன்’ என்று அனுப்பி வைத்தார் விஜய். எப்படியோ டயர்ல முட்டிய கல்லை நகர்த்திவிட்டு ஜில்லாவை வடம் பிடித்து இழுத்து வந்து தியேட்டருக்குள் விட்டார்கள். அந்த நேரத்தில் சற்று பொறுமை காட்டிய நஷ்டக்காரகர்கள் இப்போது விஜய்யை ரவுண்டு கட்டிவிட்டார்கள்.
பிரபல விநியோகஸ்தரான திருப்பூர் சுப்ரமணியம் தலைமையில் பஞ்சாயத்து நடந்தது. நஷ்டத் தொகையாக சுமார் பத்து கோடி வரைக்கும் கேட்டாராம் அப்படத்தின் தயாரிப்பாளர் சந்திரபிரகாஷ் ஜெயின். ஆனால் அவருக்கு கணக்கு வழக்குகளை நெருக்கி பிடித்து 2 கோடியே 90 லட்சம் ரூபாயை திருப்பி கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் விஜய். அப்படியே படத்தை வாங்கி வெளியிட்ட வேந்தர் மூவிஸ் நிறுவனத்திற்கு 2 கோடியே 10 லட்சத்தை திருப்பிக் கொடுத்தாராம்.
ஆகமொத்தம் ஐந்து கோடி ரூபாயை விஜய்யின் பாக்கெட்டிலிருந்து உருவிவிட்டார்கள் இவர்கள். இதுக்கே இப்படின்னா பின்னாடியே வரப்போற ‘ஜில்லா’ பஞ்சாயத்துக்கு என்ன செய்யப் போகிறாரோ விஜய்? இப்பவே ஏரியாவுக்கு ரெண்டு கோடி நஷ்டம் என்று கண்ணை கசக்க ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறார்களாம் படத்தை வாங்கிய விநியோகஸ்தர்கள். ரிலீஸ் தினத்தன்று சுமார் பதினைந்து கோடி லாபத்திலிருந்த தயாரிப்பாளர் சௌத்ரிக்கு பின்னாலேயே வரப்போவுது கணக்கு வழக்கு புத்தகங்கள் அடங்கிய கண்ணீர் கேசட்!
Vijay compensates for loss to Thalaivaa producer
At the time of release of Jilla, the producers and distributors of Thalaivaa were pressurising Vijay and Jilla team to settle the loss of their film, before releasing Jilla. Vijay one line answer, bring accounts of films, if eligible he would compensate the loss.
Now Thalaivaa producer Chandraprakash Jain and other area distributors met Vijay with Tirupur Subramanyam – a popular distributor – doing the counselling for both parties. It was decided that producer Chandraprakash Jain be given Rs.2.90 crores as compensation after much deliberations. Vendhar Movies which distributed the film had incurred the loss of Rs.2.10 crores. So, in all Vijay has returned Rs.5 crores to both producer Jain and distributor Vendhar Movies.
Meantime there are murmurs arising from distributors of Jilla, about the loss they have incurred from the film. How Vijay would tackle the issue is remains to be seen.
