Nayan and Shreya may escape from punitive action

There were reports earlier that Tamil Film Chambers are contemplating action against the actors Nayanthara and Shreya for having absented during the 100 years of Indian Cinema event. It was also reported that they were served show case notice too. However, sources close to the Chambers say, there is a rethinking to drop the charges against the actresses. It is also said that Nayanthara was a favorite in Tamil Films and hence people concerned recommended to drop her name from punitive action, but since Film Chambers might be questioned on the disparity in taking action between Nayan and Shreya, decided to drop the charges on both of them. It was also said that earlier Nayan and Shreya demanded hefty sum for their performances and since the committee could not afford they dropped their performances.
