சினிமா மார்க்கெட்டில் ஜெய் இப்போது ‘ஜெய் ஜெய ஜெய மகா தேவ்’ ஆகிவிட்டார். எங்கேயும் எப்போதும் ஹிட், அதற்கப்புறம் வந்த ராஜா ராணி தாறுமாறான ஹிட். கைவசம் சூப்பர் சூப்பராக நாலைந்து படங்கள் இருக்க, லேட் என்ட்ரி ஜெய் தனது சந்தோஷத்தை பகிர்ந்து கொள்ள பிரஸ்சை மீட் பண்ணினார். பிரஸ்மீட் நடக்கும் இடத்திற்கும் அவர் லேட்(டாக) என்ட்ரி கொடுக்க சில மூத்த நிருபர்கள் முகத்தில் சொய்ங்ங்….
‘முதல்ல ஸாரி கேட்டுக்குறேன்’ என்று பேச ஆரம்பித்தார். ‘சுப்ரமணியபுரம்’ ஹிட்டுக்கு பிறகு அந்த வெற்றியை தக்க வைச்சுக்க எனக்கு தெரியல. அதனால் இந்த முறை ‘எங்கேயும் எப்போதும்’ படத்தில் கிடைத்த வெற்றியையும் கைநழுவ விடக் கூடாதுங்கறதுல தெளிவா இருந்தேன். நல்ல கதைக்காக வெயிட் பண்ணினேன். ‘ராஜா ராணி’ படமே இரண்டு வருஷத்துக்கு மேல இழுத்துருச்சு என்றார் ஒரு கச்சிதமான முன்னுரை போல.
ஜெய் நேரில் இருக்கும் போது நஸ்ரியா பற்றி கேள்வி கேட்காமல் இருந்தால் நாட்டில் மும்மாரி பொழிவது எப்படி? ஆளாளுக்கு நஸ்ரியா பற்றிய கேள்விகளாகவே கேட்டுத்தள்ள, ‘அவங்க யாருன்னே எனக்கு தெரியாது. யாரு நஸ்ரியா?’ என்றார் ஜெய்யும் அதே ஜோரோடு. கடைசிவரை அவர் வாயிலிருந்து எதையும் பிடுங்க முடியாத பிரஸ், ரூட்டை மாற்றிக் கொண்டதுதான் பவர்புல்லான ‘பல்பு’களில் ஒன்று.
நயன்தாராவோடு நடிக்கும் போது எப்படியிருந்துச்சு? என்ற கேள்விக்கு மட்டும் ரொம்ப உரிமையாக நயன் நயன்… என்று அவர் பதில் சொல்ல, நயன்னு செல்லமா கூப்பிடுற அளவுக்கு ஆகிருச்சா என்று தையலை ஸ்டிராங்காக போட ஆரம்பித்தது பிரஸ்.
இறுதியாக ‘அஞ்சலி இருக்கிற இடம் உங்களுக்காவது தெரியுமா?’ என்றொரு கேள்விக்கு, ‘ஆமாங்க… நானும் தேடிகிட்டு இருக்கேன். தெரிஞ்சா எனக்கு சொல்லுங்க’ என்றார் அதே லந்து குறையாமல்.

Jai is soft spoken, amenable and very gentle in his approach is well known. But he has the smartness to duck controversies hurled at him was exhibited by the young actor in his press meet held on 3rd Sept. He answered the questions journalists posed at him with such a finnesse that the reporters were found wanting in extracting any informtion. When he told the media men that he could not sustain the success after Subramanyapuram, however he is determined to stay afloat and continue his success after Engeyum Eppodhum. He said that he is now pick and choose his projects to maintain the success rate. He also said that his latest film Raja Rani took nearly 2 years making him difficult to concntrate on any other projects. Jai ducked the questions very smartly be it on the report of sidelining of him by Raja Rani team. He also made it clear there is no basis on the rumours linking him with Nazriya.
