நஸ்ரியா என்ற நடிகையின் சுயநலத்தில் எங்கே வந்தது இஸ்லாமியம்?

நஸ்ரியா போலீஸ் கமிஷனர் அலுவலகத்திற்கு நேரில் வந்து புகார் கொடுக்கிறவரைக்கும் இருந்த பார்வை வேறு. இப்போது அப்படியே தலைகீழாக புரட்டிப் போட்டிருக்கிறது இந்த விவகாரத்தில் கையாளப்பட்டிருக்கும் நுணுக்கமான அணுகுமுறைகளும், நுண்ணறிவுடன் கூடிய வார்த்தை பிரயோகங்களும். இந்த புகாரில் அவர் சார்ந்த மதத்தை பற்றியும் ஒரு வார்த்தை சேர்த்திருக்கிறார் நஸ்ரியா.

சினிமாவில் நடிகை என்கிற இனத்தை அதே சினிமாவிலிருக்கிற மற்றவர்கள் நடத்துகிற விதம், மிக கேவலமானதாகவே இருந்திருக்கிறது. இது மேலெழுந்த வாரியாக மறுக்கப்பட்டாலும், நிஜம் அதுதான். பல நேரங்களில் நடிகைகள் கோபமாக வெடித்திருக்கிறார்கள். குமுறி அழுதிருக்கிறார்கள். பத்மப்ரியாவை கன்னத்தில் அறைந்த இயக்குனர்களையெல்லாம் பார்த்த சினிமாதான் இது.

‘எனது அனுமதியில்லாமல் வேறொரு டூப்பை வைத்து என் இடுப்பை எடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள். மிக ஆபாசமாக சித்தரிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறது என் கேரக்டர் ’ என்றெல்லாம் நஸ்ரியா கோபப்படுவது நியாயத்திலும் நியாயம். ஆனால் இந்த நியாயத்தை கேளுங்களேன் என்று அழுகிற நஸ்ரியாவின் புகாரில் இல்லையே அவர் தேடி வருகிற நியாயம்? இந்த இடத்தில்தான் நமது சந்தேகம் வலுக்கிறது. ‘திருவனந்தபுரத்தின் பாரம்பரியமான முஸ்லீம் குடும்பத்தில் பிறந்தவள் நான்’ என்று கூறியிருக்கிறார் நஸ்ரியா.

பாரம்பரியமான முஸ்லீம் குடும்பத்து பெண்மணியான நீங்கள் ஏன் நடிக்க வந்தீர்கள் சகோதரி? உங்கள் சமூகத்தில் படம் பார்ப்பதே குற்றம் என்கிறார்களே, அதை மீறி நடிப்பதும் ‘ரிங்கா ரிங்கா’ ஆடுவதும் உங்கள் சமூகத்திற்கு பெருமை சேர்த்துவிட்டதா சகோதரி?

இன்னும் இரண்டு வாரங்கள் கூட ஆகவில்லை ராஜா ராணி படம் வெளியாகி. அதில் நீங்கள் ‘ரிங்கா ரிங்கா ’ பாடலுக்கு ஆடிய அழகை நாட்டு மக்களுக்கு காட்டியும் இரண்டு வாரங்கள் கூட ஆகவில்லை! படத்தை பார்க்காத பலரும், ஃபேஸ்புக்கில் உலவிய அந்த அரை நிமிட ஆட்டத்தில் அவுட்டாகி தியேட்டருக்கு ஓடிய கதையை கலெக்ஷன் ரிக்கார்டுகள் சொல்லி வருகின்றன.

அதற்கெல்லாம் சம்மதித்த நீங்கள் இதற்கும் சம்மதிக்க வேண்டும் என்பது நமது வற்புறுத்தல் அல்ல. ஆசையாக கட்டி உருளவும் உங்களுக்கு உரிமை இருக்கிறது. ஆவேசத்தோடு கட்டி உருளவும் உங்களுக்கு உரிமை இருக்கிறது. இதில் மதத்தை இழுக்க வேண்டாமே என்பதுதான் நமது அட்வைஸ்.

நஸ்ரியாவின் இந்த புகாரில் ஒன்றுக்கு மேற்பட்ட இடங்களில் மத விஷயத்தை வலியுறுத்தியிருப்பதால், அவரது நோக்கம் படத்தையே தடை செய்ய கேட்கும் சூட்சுமங்களில் ஒன்றாக கூட தோன்றுகிறது. இறையன்புக்கு பாத்திரமான எங்கள் முஸ்லீம் சகோதரர்கள் ஒரு நடிகையின் சுயநலத்திற்காக தங்களின் மதத்தை அடகு வைக்க மாட்டார்கள் என்றே தோன்றுகிறது.

படத்திற்கு பேசாமல் ‘நஸ்ரியாவின் நய்யாண்டி’ என்று தலைப்பு வைத்திருந்தால் கூட பொறுத்தமாக இருந்திருக்கும். யோசிங்க சற்குணம்…

Nazriya’s complaint to the police is misleading

It is always our concern and truthful wish that those who come to cinema as professional, to earn their bread and butter, especially the young girls, should be given their due rights and respects to their feelings, and vice versa. While we appreciate and demand justice to the genuine feelings of Nazriya Nazim, we are not convinced about the complaint she had handed over to the Police Commissioner.

Cinema in itself is a religion and those who involve themselves are of one community called – film community. It is pertinent to point out that unlike now, those who were involved in Cinema are looked down and were always treated less than par in their social background. Still no one complained then or atleast as far as we know, that one hails from this community or that community and so they were not properly treated by the society. Every artiste must understand that directly or indirectly through Cinema you are doing yeomen service to the society, by providing them good entertainment, albeit, for a price, to get themselves relieved from their monotonous lives. When you do this service for a social cause, where has the religion come from? If any religion raises its head in Cinema, then certainly it is not show business for public cause, but a private business for some exclusive society.  Why this prologue I am giving here, is because, Nazriya Nazim, by writing such a complaint which was handed over to the Police Commissioner, committed a grave error, probably under the influence of some unscrupulous religious elements. She had written in her complaint that some portions of the films are not to the liking of her family and community. Yes, while she and her family has every liberty to express their opinion, where did the community come into the picture? At the outset if any one who is going to bring in their community into the picture, should not have ventured into Cinema. Because only in Cine-field, there is no community or religion and everyone there belong to Cinema religion or film community.

By bringing in her community in the picture of her allegations, we suspect that either Nazriya has fallen into the hands of religious fundamentalists/unscrupulous elements, who wanted to capitalize on the issue, or Nazriya herself may have some motives behind it. Though we also prefer to give her the benefit of doubt looking to the small age she is, who can always be swayed away by her near and dear.  We hope and appeal to her to please not to indulge in such cheap gimmicks wittingly or unwittingly, or under duress, because your community too says to respect others’ emotions!
