லிங்குசாமி இயக்கத்தில் சூர்யா நடிக்கும் படத்திற்கு இன்னும் பெயர் வைக்கவில்லை. எந்த பெயரை வைத்தால் அது பிற்காலத்தில் பிரச்சனையை தராது என்று சல்லடை போட்டு சலித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்களாம் சூர்யாவும் லிங்குசாமியும்.
ஏனென்றால் கடந்த பல ஆண்டுகளாகவே தமிழ்சினிமா ஹீரோக்களை டைட்டில் பஞ்சாயத்து ஆட்டி வைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது. துப்பாக்கி படத் தலைப்புக்காக கோர்ட் வரைக்கும் போனவர்களும் இங்கே உண்டு. ஜில்லா தலைப்பே என்னுடையது வேறொருவர் வழக்குமன்றத்துக்கு போன கதையும் நடந்தது. நமக்கு அப்படியெல்லாம் ஒரு சங்கடம் வரக்கூடாது என்று நினைத்தவர்கள் மன்னர் என்று பெயர் வைத்தார்களாம். சமீபத்தில் தி.மு.க தலைவர் கலைஞரை வாழ்த்தி ஒரு போஸ்டர் ஒட்டப்பட்டிருந்தது. அதில் கலைஞரை, ‘மன்னரே…’ என்று வர்ணித்திருந்தார்கள். இதையெல்லாம் கவனித்த சூர்யா, ‘வேற டைட்டிலை யோசிங்க’ என்றாராம் லிங்குசாமியிடம். இப்போது ராஜுபையா என்று யோசித்து வைத்திருக்கிறார்கள்.

Title dilemma for Suriya-Lingusamy film
Suriya’s film under Lingusamy’s direction is progressing well having completed a long first schedule which included a dance number by Maryam Zakaria, a Swedish-Iranian beauty, who earlier acted in Nagaram. Meanwhile, there were reports in the media that Lingusamy has more or less zeroed in on the title of the film – Mannar or Raju Bhaiyaa. However Lingusamy’s brother Subhash Chandra Bose, co-producer of the film had issued a statement that the title has not yet been finalised and would be finalised soon. Meanwhile we hear that Suriya is very keen that the title of the film should not create any controversy at a later date, especially during the film release time. It is said that he has rejected the title Mannar, since a political leader was described as Mannar in one of party’s posters. As far as Raju Bhaiya is concerned the title looks half Tamil and half Hindi, which means the film is not entitled for tax concession by the State government. Vijay’s Jilla seems to have been rejected by the tax officials on the same ground. So, Lingusamy and Suriya are seems to be in a dilemma to title their film with above said titles. We hear it might be released around Pongal festival time. Let us hope so!
