வெத்தலைய மெல்லு… விடிய விடிய ஊது… சசியை சவுட்டி எடுக்கும் பாலா!

ம்… ஆரம்பியுங்கள் சித்திரவதையை…! இப்படி பாலா உறுமினாலும், பம்மிக் கொண்டு அதை அனுபவிக்க தயாராக இருக்கிறது ஒரு கும்பல். இவர்கள் அத்தனை பேரும் முன்னணி ஹீரோக்கள் என்பதுதான் முக்கியமான விஷயம். பாலா படத்தில் கஷ்ஷ்ஷ்ஷ்ஷ்டப்பட்டு ஒருமுறை நடிச்சுட்டா, அதுக்கு பிறகு வாழ்நாள் முழுக்க வருமானம்தான் என்று கணக்கு போடும் இந்த ஹீரோக்கள், எந்த நொடியில் அக்ரிமென்ட்டில் கையெழுத்து போடுகிறார்களோ, அந்த நொடியில் இருந்தே தங்கள் அடிமை சாசனத்தை அவருக்கு எழுதி கொடுத்துவிடுவது வழக்கம்.

இந்த வார்த்தை சற்று ஓவராக இருந்தாலும் உண்மை அதுதான். பாலாவும் வேண்டுமென்றே இவர்களை வெளுப்பதில்லை. அப்படி வெளுத்தாலாவது அந்த இறுகிப் போன தசையில் எங்காவது நடிப்பு எட்டிப்பார்த்துவிடாதா என்கிற நப்பாசைதான். இந்த முறை பாலாவிடம் சிக்கிய சசிகுமாருக்கு பாலபாடம் துவங்கிவிட்டது. இந்த படத்திற்கு தாரை தப்பட்டை என்று பெயர் வைத்திருக்கிறாராம் பாலா.

இதில் சசிகுமார் நாதஸ்வர கலைஞராக நடிக்கிறாராம். அதற்காக அவரை தயார் படுத்தும் வேலையில் இறங்கியிருக்கும் பாலா, ஒரு நாதஸ்வர கலைஞனுக்கு கழுத்துக்கு கீழே தசைகள் தொங்க வேண்டும். அதுபோல உன் கழுத்துக்கு கீழேவும் தசைகள் தொங்குவதற்கு பயிற்சி எடு என்று கூறிவிட்டாராம். தொங்கு என்று சொன்னவுடன் தொங்க அது என்ன வவ்வாலா? தனக்கு தெரிந்த மருத்துவர்கள், ஊரில் பாக்கு இடிக்கும் ஆயாக்கள் என்று சுமார் ஒரு டஜன் நபர்களிடம் ஐடியா கேட்ட சசிகுமார், இப்போது தினந்தோறும் தின்று தின்று உறங்க ஆரம்பித்திருக்கிறாராம். அது மட்டுமல்ல, வாய் நிறைய வெற்றிலையை மென்று கொண்டேயிருக்க வேண்டும் என்றும் கூறியிருக்கிறாராம் பாலா. பற்கள் மட்டுமல்ல, பல்லுக்கு அருகேயிருக்கிற மூக்கும் சிவக்கிற அளவுக்கு வெற்றிலையை மென்று துப்பிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் மனுஷன்.

தாடியை மழித்து, தலைமுடியை ஒட்ட வெட்டி, மீசையை மெல்லிசாக்கி, சசிகுமாரை வேறு ஆளாக்கிவிட்டார் பாலா. இதெல்லாம் ஆரம்ப கால சித்ரவதைகள்தான். அப்புறம் நாதஸ்வர பயிற்சி என்ற ஒன்று இருக்கிறது. கழுத்து என்ன, கன்னம் உதடெல்லாம் கதக்களி ஆடப்போவுது பாருங்க… என்கிறார்கள் இப்பவே.

Strenuous training begins for Sasikumar!

Director Bala is a perfectionist and whether his films are commercially successful or not, it is immaterial for the director. He wants the hero and heroine and other members earn a name for themselves to be in the reckoning for their future. It is this vibrative sense pushes them to play whatever role possible in Bala’s film. If one were to ask the heroes and heroines about the strains they have undergone while doing Bala’s film they speak high of the director hiding their pains.

Well, now director-producer-actor Sasikumar is readying himself to undergo such strenuous period of training and image building for the character he is going to play in Bala’s next film. He has already shaved his head and removed his beard with only pencil moustache in his face. Bala has further instructed him to have float under his chin as is required for a Nadaswaram artiste. He will also undergo training of playing Nadaswaram in the film.

However notwithstanding the pains and sufferings Sasikumar will undergo till the completion of the film, it will be worth a while as his bracket as an artiste will be changed for better forever, for sure.
