நாடோடிகள் பரணி ஹீரோவாக நடிக்கும் கன்னக்கோல் என்ற படத்தின் பாடல் வெளியீட்டு விழா பிரசாத் லேப் தியேட்டரில் நடந்தது. அதற்கு முன் சில படங்களில் நடித்திருந்தாலும் சமுத்திரக்கனியால் பிரபலமானவர் பரணி. அந்த மேடையில் சமுத்திரக்கனிக்கு அருகிலேயே ஒரு சீட் போட்டு அமர வைத்துவிட்டார்கள் பரணியை. அவ்வளவுதான்… மரியாதை காரணடமாக நெளிந்து கொண்டேயிருந்தார் அவர். என்னை இந்த மேடையில ஏத்துனதும் இல்லாம, அண்ணன் பக்கத்துல வேற சீட்டை கொடுத்துட்டாங்க என்று அநியாயத்துக்கு வெட்கப்பட்டார் பரணி. என் தம்பி நடிக்கிற படம். ஜெயிக்கணும். அதுதான் என்னோட பிரார்த்தனை என்றார் சமுத்திரக்கனி.

பயணங்கள் முடிவதில்லை படத்தில் நான் கேட்டு வாங்கிய பாடல்தான் இளையநிலா பொழிகிறதே என்ற பாட்டு. அதைதான் நான் ரிங் டோனா வச்சுருக்கேன். அதுக்கு எனக்குதானே நியாயமா அவன் பணம் தரணும்? ஆனா இந்த செல்போன் காரன் எங்கிட்டயிருந்து முப்பது ரூபா புடுங்குறான். அதுவும் மாசா மாசம். இந்த முப்பது ரூபாயில எனக்கும் பத்து ரூபா வரல. இசையமைச்ச இளையராஜாவுக்கும் பத்து ரூபா வரல. படம் எடுத்த தயாரிப்பாளருக்கும் வரல. எங்க உழைப்பை எவனோ ஒருத்தன் தின்னுகிட்டு இருக்கான். அதுதான் எனக்கும் புரியல என்றார் வேதனையோடு.
இவரது பேச்சை கேட்டு வந்திருந்த கூட்டம் குலுங்கி குலுங்கி சிரித்தது. யெஸ்… இப்படிதான் நியாயத்துக்கெல்லாம் கோபப்படாம அடுத்தவங்க மண்ணா போறதை பார்த்து சிரிச்சு சிரிச்சு வாழ்ந்துகிட்டேயிருக்கு தமிழ்நாடு.
I am paying money to hear my songs – R. Sudararajan
Like late director Manivannan, actor-director Sundararajan has the knack of giving thoughtful information in a humorous way.
Sundararajan who normally not seen in films nor in any events participated in the audio release event of Kannakkol, which has Nadodigal Bharani playing the hero. Director Samuthirakkani who was one of the guests to the function has said that he wishes to see his brother’s (read Bharani) film will be a hit.
Director Sundararajan who spoke later has said that I am keeping the song ‘Ilaya Nila Pozhigiradhe’ from one of my films Payanangal Mudivathillai, as ring tone in my mobile. But I pay to the mobile company monthly subscription of Rs.30/- to have this ring tone. “Is it justified that a song taken from my film is used by the mobile company for which I pay monthly subscription when either he or the music composer Ilayaraja gets anything from it?” questioned Sundarajan.
The point he has dealt with in his speech needs real consideration for future film makers and composers, for sure.
