தமிழ்சினிமாவில் அஜீத்தால் முழு வாழ்வடைந்தவர் என்றால் அவர் ஏ.எம்.ரத்னம்தான். ஒருகாலத்தில் தமிழ்சினிமா பட்ஜெட்டை தாறுமாறாக மேலேற்றி, நமது படங்களுக்கு உலக அளவில் ஒரு மார்க்கெட்டை கிடைக்க செய்தவர்களில் ஒருவர் ஏ.எம்.ரத்னம். காலப்போக்கில் அவர் எடுத்த படங்கள் சரிவர ஓடாமல் போனதாலும் மகன்களின் சொந்த நடிப்பு, சொந்த இயக்கம் மோகத்தாலும் பெரும் நஷ்டத்திற்கு ஆளானார். கடன் தொல்லை அவரையும் வாட்டி எடுத்தது. மீண்டும் இங்கே ஒரு இடத்தை பிடிக்க வேண்டும் என்றால் விஜய் நினைத்தால் முடியும் என்று கருதி அவர் பின்னாலேயே பல வருடங்கள் அலைந்தார்.
உங்களுக்குதான் கால்ஷீட் என்று கூறிவந்த விஜய், திடீரென ரத்னத்தை கழற்றிவிட, செய்வதறியாமல் திகைத்து நின்ற நேரத்தில் தோளில் கை போட்டு ஆறுதளித்தவர் அஜீத். அதற்கப்புறம் உருவானதுதான் ஆரம்பம். நினைத்த மாதிரியே மீண்டும் கம்பீரமான தனது நாற்காலியை கை பற்றினார் ரத்னம். தொடர்ந்து அஜீத் கால்ஷீட் கொடுக்க, இதோ மறுபடியும் ஒரு பிரமாண்டமான படத்தை தயாரிக்க களம் இறங்கிவிட்டார்.
இந்த படத்தை முடித்த பின்பு நடுவில் ஒரு வேறொரு படத்தில் நடித்துவிட்டு மீண்டும் ஏ.எம்.ரத்னத்திற்கே கால்ஷீட் தருவதாக வாக்குறுதி கொடுத்திருக்கிறாராம் அஜீத். அந்த படத்திற்குதான் ஐம்பது கோடி சம்பளம் தருவேன் என்று தனக்கு நெருக்கமானவர்களிடம் உருகிக் கொண்டிருக்கிறாராம் ரத்னம்.

Producer AM Rathnam declares to pay Rs.50 crores to Ajith?
Producer AM Rathnam was once reigning the roost of Kollywood, but destiny had befallen on him and he suffered quite a financial problems on various accounts. In order to stabilize his receding space with a vengeance he started approaching Vijay who was the peak of his career to do a film for him. Vijay for his own reasons abandoned him after initial overtures. Depressed Rathnam did not go how to mitigate his problems and achieve his ambition.
As his wont Ajith extended his helping arm to the suffering Rathnam and gave him the blockbuster Arrambam. The film not only made him to establish his self but gave him courage and confidence to go ahead. As destined, Ajith helped him with another biggie with director Gautham Menon which will start rolling from end of this month.
Ajith has further promised to help him with yet another film in 2015, after working in a film with another producer. An elated Rathnam then declared to his close friends that he would pay a salary of Rs.50 crores to Ajith when the project is finalised.
While we are happy that Rathnam is now able to sprint, leave alone walking. But what our suggestion is to focus on the preparedness before the leap.
