அண்மைக்காலமாக இப்படியொரு கேள்வியை கேட்க வைத்துவிட்டது கமலின் முயற்சிகளும் முடிவுகளும்! உத்தம வில்லன் படம்தான் லிங்குசாமி என்ற தயாரிப்பாளரை நிலைகொள்ளாமல் ‘நீந்து’சாமி யாக்கியது. இன்னமும் நீச்சல் தெரியாமல் தத்தளித்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார் அவர்.
அதற்கப்புறம் கமல் நடித்த பாபநாசம், நல்லவேளை… அந்த மலையாள படத்தின் ஒரிஜனல் இயக்குனரே உள்ளே வந்ததால் தப்பித்தது. இல்லையென்றால் என்னாகியிருக்குமோ? நினைக்கவே அச்சமாக இருக்கிறது. இந்த நிலையில்தான் அவரது ‘தூங்காவனம்’ படம் வெளிவருவதற்கு முன் அப்படியொரு பில்டப், பாராட்டு பத்திரங்கள் என்று களை கட்டியது. படம் முப்பத்தைந்து நாளில் முடிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும், நல்ல முன் தயாரிப்பு முயற்சி இருந்தால் அது சாத்தியமே என்றெல்லாம் கமல் பேச பேச பரவசம் ஆனது ஃபீல்டு. (இதையேன் உங்க உத்தம வில்லன்லேயும், விஸ்வரூபத்துலேயும் காட்டல? என்று எந்த நாட்டாமையும் வாய் திறக்கவில்லை)
முப்பத்தைந்து நாளில் எடுத்ததன் விளைவை நன்றாகவே (?) அனுபவித்தார்கள் ரசிகர்கள். தமிழ்சினிமா ரசிகனுக்கு பொருந்தாத கதை. பொருந்தாத களம் என்று வழக்கம் போல கமலின் அறிவாற்றல் வெளிப்பட, எல்லாரும் பயந்த மாதிரியே ஆனது முடிவு. இந்த கொடுமைக்கு மழை ஒரு வில்லன், அஜீத் ஒரு வில்லன் என்று தூங்காவனத்திற்கு இரண்டு வில்லன்கள். எல்லாம் துன்ப மயமாம் இப்போது.
சுமார் 20 கோடி முதலீடு செய்து இந்த படத்தின் தமிழ்நாடு வெளியீடு உரிமையை வாங்கிய எஸ்கேப் ஆர்ட்டிஸ்ட் நிறுவனத்திற்கு, சுமார் எட்டு ‘சி’ வரை கையை கடிக்கும் என்கிறார்கள்.

Very good article.Balu mahendra assistance, kakka mutai manikandan , kutram kadithal brahma are making tamil movies that talk about current problems and are winning awards internationally.But kamal is still doing what he was doing before internet came. copying remaking foreign movies and getting a name that he is making good non masala movies.But truth of the matter is he is making masala movies in his own style and hyping it to the max.

What a crappy article? When directors like Shankar took a year to complete movies, Kamal Hassan has taken 4 months to complete movies like Hey Ram. And he has always been a trend setter. Only after Virumandi, directors started making movies that are similar in lines. He has always been a forerunner. Ahead of his time. Most of his risky movies were his own production. After all, who makes a movie like Raja Parvai when someone is 24! He could easily make movies like Tenali or Vasool Raja, and make quick bucks. But he prefers taking risks.

தமிழ்நாட்டில் தூங்காவனத்தின் நிலை ???? கூடும். வெந்த புண்ணில் உப்புக் காகிதம் வைத்து தேய்ப்பதற்கு சமம். இதுவரை ரூ 20 கோடியைத் தாண்டவில்லை அந்தப் படம். அமெரிக்காவில் மட்டும் ரூ 2 கோடியை வசூலித்துள்ளது. படம் படு தோல்வி. வாங்கி வெளியிட்டவர்கள் புலம்புகின்றனர். கமல் இனி நடிக்காமல் இருப்பது தமிழ் சினிமாவிற்கு நல்லது.
