இந்த வருட தீபாவளிக்கு முதலில் தியேட்டருக்கு வரப்போகிறது அஜீத்தின் ஆரம்பம். அதற்கு மறுநாள் வெள்ளிக்கிழமை தியேட்டருக்கு வரப்போகும் படம் விஷாலின் பாண்டியநாடு. அதற்கடுத்த நாள்தான் தியேட்டருக்கு வருகிறதாம் கார்த்தியின் ஆல் இன் அழகுராஜா. ஏன் இந்த டைம் டேபிள்? யாருக்காக ஆல் இன் ஆல் அழகுராஜா கடைசியில் நிற்கிறது என்பன போன்ற விஷயங்களுக்குள் நுழைவது இடியாப்ப சிக்கலிலும் பெரும் சிக்கல் என்பதால் இத்துடன் நிற்க.

பாண்டியநாடு ரிலீசையொட்டி பிரஸ்சை சந்தித்து தனது உள்ளக் கிடக்கைகளை அள்ளிக் கொட்டினார் விஷால். பொதுவாகவே அஜீத், விஜய் படங்கள் ரிலீசாகிற நேரங்களில் சற்று தொடை நடுங்கத்தோடுதான் தங்கள் படங்களை தியேட்டருக்கு கொண்டுவர நினைப்பார்கள் ஹீரோக்கள். இதே ரஜினி படம் வருகிற நேரம் என்றால் அஜீத்தும் விஜய்யும் பம்முவது தனி கதை. இப்போது அஜீத் படம் திரைக்கு வருகிற நேரத்தில் விஷாலுக்கும் கார்த்திக்குக்கும் ஏனிந்த வேண்டாத வேலை?

I have confidence in me and my film – Vishal

During the interaction with the press Vishal told the reporters that he has confidence in himself and his film Pandia Naadu, when askd about the timing of its release along with Ajith’s film. Normally when big heroes film will have a solo release, so that not only it can make a killing at the Box Office, but also the films of other heroes do not face any damage at the Box Office. It is the same case with Ajith or Vijay when Rajini film is released, or with other heroes when Ajith or Vijay film gets released. But this time, the makers – Vishal in the case of Pandia Nadu and Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green, in the case of All in All Azhagu Raja – have broken the concept and preparing themselves to hit the screens simultaneously when Ajith’s Arrambam is released. The press asked Vishal about it, when he met the press in connection with his film release, when he said, “I have confidence in me and my film”. Though it is good to keep the confidence level high, one has to look at the reality. At the outset Ajith’s film is coming after a long gap, and there is enough level of anticipation and hype surrounding the film. Further, it will have to be seen that Ajith or Vijay films will occupy the BO for at least 10 days from the date of release, which means the collections of other films are going to be affected, surely. Assuming if the films have bad trade talk, still the films will still make average outing at the BO. This opportunity can be lapped up by other films, provided their films have a good trade talk as well as public talk. At the end, these films may not have as good an opportunity when released solo and not during the release of big heroes films. Everyone, including heroes, directors, producers are well aware that ‘timing’ is the crux of the matter for a film to be released, and hence ‘ego’ and ‘confidence’ level should be avoided.
