Karthikga adds surname ‘Nair’ to bring luck

Karthikga apart from Ko has no films to boast about her performance and success in Kollywood. In order to bring luck she was advised by her well wishers to change her. After much consideration, she has finally succumbed to the pressure and changed her name. There is no complete change in her name as such. She just added her surname ‘Nair’ to her name. She brought this change to the notice of the press by sending her latest photos with the name ‘Karthiga Nair’.

She has not stopped with the change in her name, but also seems to have learnt to be in the limelight by speaking to the press frequently. Recently she said she is excited about doing the role in Puruamboku directed by SP Jhananathan. She refused to name with whom she is paired in the film – Arya or Vijay Sethupathi. Speaking about the director she said that director Jhananathan is encyclopaedia of history and she feels excited to hear the director speaking about history.

Well, she has now learnt the tricks of the trade, it appears!
