Kochadaiiyaan release pushed to April?

Kochadaiiyaan gets free publicity by way of making news practically for every alternate day. There were so many unconfirmed news bits which were converted as news headlines only to find they are denied or not happening. Recently one such news made headlines despite its origin was pointed to the reported statement of one of its co-producers Murali Manohar who said that the film would be released for Pongal, thus making everyone by surprise. Even the theatre owners were reportedly hesitant to accept Ajith or Vijay film for Pongal.

However persons who are in the know and who do not wish to be named say that the real issue is settling of various bills of creditors before the release of the film. Soundarya Ashwin who is currently in China overseeing the graphic works that are being done there, has reportedly contacted some of her known financiers to resolve the issue. But she was clearly told that they are ready to pay any amount of money, if Rajini signs. Though as a daughter Soundarya certainly would not like to mortgage her father’s reputation, Rajini on the other hand would not like to see his daughter’s career gets spoiled at the nascent stage.

How father and daughter would help each other in releasing the film is the question doing rounds in Kollywood at present.
