வீரம் படத்தில் ஒவ்வொரு காட்சிகளையும் அல்டிமேட்டாக உருவாக்கிய டைரக்டர் சிவா, வசனங்களையும் பக்கா ‘பஞ்ச்’ தெறிக்க அமைத்திருந்ததை வெகுவாகவே ரசிக்கிறார்கள் அஜீத் ரசிகர்கள்.
நீ என்ன சாதிரா? என்று கேட்கும் வில்லனிடம், ‘நீ தேவர்னு நினைச்சா தேவன், நாடார்னு நினைச்சா நாடான், தலித்துன்னு நினைச்சா தலித். கவுண்டர் நினைச்சா கவுண்டன். அய்யர்னு நினைச்சா அய்யன். நீ என்னை எப்படி பார்க்கிறாயோ, நான் அந்த சாதிடா’ என்று அஜீத் கூறுவதாக ஒரு வசனம் வருகிறது. இதை எழுதி முடித்துவிட்டு அஜீத்துக்கு போன் அடித்தாராம் சிவா. ‘சார்… இப்படியொரு வசனம் எழுதியிருக்கேன். ஆனால் இதை படத்தில் வைக்கறதுக்கு அச்சமா இருக்கு. ஏன்னா ஜாதி பிரச்சனை அவ்வப்போது தலை எடுத்து பல உயிர்களை காவு வாங்கிகிட்டு இருக்கு. நீங்க என்ன நினைக்கிறீங்க?’ என்றாராம்.
சிவாவிடம் அந்த வசனத்தை இன்னொரு முறை சொல்லுங்க என்று சொல்ல சொல்லி கேட்ட அஜீத், ‘ரொம்ப அருமையா இருக்கு. எதுவும் நடக்காது. நீங்க தைரியமா வைங்க’ என்றாராம். இப்போது தியேட்டர் விசிட் போகும்போதெல்லாம் அந்த வசனத்திற்கு கிடைக்கிற கைதட்டல்களை கேட்டா எனக்கு புல்லரிக்குது. அஜீத் சார் மட்டும் வேண்டாம்னு சொல்லியிருந்தா அது இல்லாமலே போயிருக்கும். அவருக்குதான் ரசிகர்களின் பல்ஸ் நல்லா தெரிஞ்சுருக்கு என்றார்.
Director Siva recalls Ajith’s advice with amazement
Director Siva recalled an incident that when he wrote the dialogue he was a bit worried whether to keep the lines or not. Ironically it is those lines which received the maximum applause and appreciation from the audience.
When villain asks Ajith what caste does he belong to, Ajith would respond saying if you think I am Devar, I am Devar, If you think I am Nadar, I am Nadar, If you think I am Dalit, I am Dalit…… On writing such a wonderful lines, in the film, Director Siva was a worried a man if it would go well with the audience, due to frequent cast and community clashes happening. By instinct he called up Ajith and mouthed the lines and asked his suggestion if he can keep them in the film. After hearing the lines once again from the director, Ajith told the director to retain the lines and thus the shoot was completed.
Now Siva is a happy man as those lines are getting the maximum appreciation from the audience, Siva exults with pride and praising Ajith to know the pulse of his fans and audience.
