‘பக்கத்துல ஜால்ராக்களை வச்சுக்காதீங்க…’ விஜய் சேதுபதிக்கு டைரக்டர் ஆலோசனை!

இதை அறிவுரையாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டாலும் சரி, ஆலோசனையாக எடுத்துக் கொண்டாலும் சரி. சொல்ல வேண்டியவர்களுக்கு சொல்லிவிடுவது நல்லது என்று நினைத்திருக்கலாம். தனக்கேயுரிய பாணியில் போட்டு தாக்கிவிட்டார் டைரக்டர் கரு.பழனியப்பன். ‘பண்ணையாரும் பத்மினியும்’ பாடல் வெளியீட்டு விழாவில் பேசிய டைரக்டர் ஆர்.வி.உதயகுமார், படத்தின் ஹீரோ விஜய் சேதுபதியிடம் நீ எப்பவும் இப்ப மாதிரியே பந்தா பண்ணாம இருக்கணும் என்று பேசி முடித்துவிட்டு அமர, பின்னாலேயே வந்த கரு.பழனியப்பன் யாரை கூட வச்சுக்கணும், யாரை கூட வச்சுக்கக் கூடாது என்பதற்கு அருமையான ஒரு உதாரணம் சொன்னார்.

கவிஞர் வாலி எம்ஜிஆருக்கு ஒரு பாடல் எழுதி, அதை அவரிடம் காண்பிப்பதற்காக ஸ்டுடியோவுக்கு வந்திருந்தார். அப்போது எம்ஜிஆர் மேக்கப் போட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தார். அவர் உட்கார்ந்திருந்த நாற்காலிக்கு பின்புறம் வாலி நிற்க, பக்கவாட்டில் எம்ஜிஆரின் நண்பர்கள் நான்கு பேர் அமர்ந்திருந்தார்கள். பாடலை படிங்க என்றாராம் எம்ஜிஆர். வாலி படித்தார். நான் ஆணையிட்டால்…. அது நடந்து விட்டால்…. இங்கு ஏழைகள் வேதனை படமாட்டார்… என்று. ஒவ்வொரு வரிக்கும் ‘ம்…’ கொட்டி கேட்ட எம்ஜிஆர், வாலியை சிறிது நேரம் வெளியில் இருங்க என்று கூறிவிட்டு அங்கிருந்த நால்வரிடமும் பாட்டு எப்படி என்றாராம்.

தலைவரே, இந்த பாட்டை சந்தேகமாவே எழுதியிருக்காரே… நான் ஆணையிட்டேன் என்றல்லவா இருக்கணும்? ஆனா இவர் ஆணையிட்டால்… என்று டவுட்டாகவே எழுதியிருக்கிறாரே என்றார்களாம் அவர்கள். மீண்டும் வாலியை உள்ளே அழைத்த எம்ஜிஆர், என்னய்யா… பாட்டு டவுட்டாவே இருக்குதே என்று கேட்க, அதற்கு வாலி விளக்கம் சொல்ல முற்பட்டாராம். இல்லையில்ல. வேறு எழுதிட்டு வந்துருங்க என்று எம்ஜிஆர் சொல்ல, என் விளக்கத்தை கேட்டுருங்க. அதற்கப்புறம் நான் எத்தனை முறை வேணும்னாலும் மாற்றி எழுதி தர்றேன் என்று கூறிய வாலி இப்படி விளக்கினாராம்.

நான் ஆணையிட்டால்… க்கு பிறகு ஒரு பிஜிஎம் வரும். அந்த ஸ்பேஸ்ல தியேட்டருக்குள் இருக்கிற ரசிகன் ஆணையிடு தலைவான்னு கத்துவான். அது நடந்துவிட்டால்… க்கு பிறகு வர்ற பிஜிஎம் ஸ்பேஸ்ல நடத்திக்காட்டுவோம் தலைவான்னு கத்துவான். அதுக்காகதான் அப்படி எழுதினேன் என்று கூற, உள்ளே உட்கார்ந்திருந்த நாலு பேரையும் வெளியில் அனுப்பிட்டு வாலியை உட்கார சொன்னாராம் எம்ஜிஆர். அதனால் வெற்றி வரும்போது நமக்கு தெரிஞ்சோ தெரியாமலோ, விரும்பியோ விரும்பாமலோ ஒரு கூட்டம் நம்மை சுற்றி வந்துரும். அவங்களை வெளியில அனுப்பிட்டு நல்லவங்களை பக்கத்துல வச்சுக்கணும் என்றார் கரு.பழனியப்பன்.

During the audio launch of Vijay Sethupathi’s Pannayarum Padminiyum, several important personalities of Kollywood participated. Director RV Udayakumar cautioned the hero of the film Vijay Sethupathi not to change the attitude and be grounded on every success that comes his way.

Director Karu. Pazhaniappan advised Vijay Sethupathi to keep always good people around him, by citing an example that happened during MGR time. Lyricist Vaali once visited MGR with four of his men sitting near him with a song he had composed for his film. The song was ‘Naan Aanaiyittal…. Adhu Nadanthuvittal …. Ingu Ezhaigal Vedhanai Padamattar’. MGR listened the song and asked Vaali to wait outside. He then asked his men sitting near him their opinion about the song. They said that it is not good since it conveys the doubt about MGR whether he could do. Instead it should have been ‘Naan Anaiyitten’, they opined. MGR called Vaali and then narrated what they said and asked him to redo the lyrics. Vaali insisted MGR to listen to his clarification before he goes out to redo the song. Vaali clarified that there is no doubt exist on those lines, but seriousness conveying the end result of his command or order. He further explained the song coupled with the musical score would engage his fans overwhelmingly to support and obey his command. MGR having listened to Vaali’s explanation asked his men to go out, and sat with Vaali to render him the song once again.

The fact of the matter is when success comes self-centred people would surround and praise for their selfish ends. It would be in the interest of one’s self to avoid those and keep always good and honest people, explained the director Pazhaniappan.

Well! This one though said for Vijay Sethupathi, is equally good for everyone, of course.
