பொத்துனாப்ல கூட்டிட்டு வந்து குந்துனாப்ல குத்துவிடுறதுல கோடம்பாக்கத்திற்கு நிகர் அதுவேதான். இங்கே அப்பாவியாக வந்து, அசுரனாக மாறியவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். அசுரனாக வந்து ஆல் அவுட் புகைக்கே காணாமல் போனவர்களும் இருக்கிறார்கள். ஞானிக்கே ஆணி செருகும் இந்த ஊரில் அம்மாம் பெரிய நிறுவனமான ‘அதுக்கே’ தள்ளாட்டம் கொடுக்கிறார்களாம் ஒரு ஹீரோவும் டைரக்டரும். அவர்கள் யார்? நிறுவனம் என்ன?
காதில் விழுந்த கிசுகிசுதான். ஆதாரபூர்வமான ஜம்ப் வரும்போது வாசகர்களுக்கே புரிந்துவிடும், அது எந்த நிறுவனம் என்று. துப்பாக்கி வெற்றிக்கு பிறகு ஏ.ஆர்.முருகதாசை அணுகிய இந்த நிறுவனம், நாங்க நடுவுல கொஞ்சம் நொடிச்சு போய் மறுபடியும் தேறி வந்திருக்கோம். நீங்க ஓ.கேன்னா நம்ம கம்பெனிக்கே படம் பண்ணலாம் என்றார்களாம். இவர் விஜய்க்கு கதை சொல்லி அவரது கால்ஷீட் வாங்கி வைத்திருக்கிறார் அல்லவா? அதை அப்படியே கேப்சர் செய்யதான் இந்த பேச்சு வார்த்தை. ஆஹா… தாராளமா பண்ணலாமே? நீங்கதானே எந்திரன் படத்தையே முதல்ல ஆரம்பிச்சிங்க? அப்புறம் காலத்தின் கோலம் அது கைமாறிப் போச்சு. ஒண்ணும் கெட்டுப் போயிடல. நான் இருக்கேன், ஐ மீன் நாங்க இருக்கோம். நானும் விஜய்யும் இருக்கோம் என்றெல்லாம் ஒரு வாசகத்தை கி.மீட்டர் நீளத்துக்கு நீட்டித்து நம்பிக்கை கொடுத்தாராம்.
சரி இப்போதென்ன அதுக்கு? எல்லாம் கூடி கோழி குஞ்சு பொறிக்கிற நேரம் வந்தாச்சு. எனக்கு 18 கோடி சம்பளம் கொடுத்துருங்க என்றாராம் முருகதாஸ். ஹீரோ விஜய் சும்மாயிருப்பாரா? ஜில்லா பெரிய ஹிட். அதனால் சம்பளத்துல கொஞ்சம் ஏத்தியிருக்கேன். 22 கோடி கொடுத்துருங்க என்றாராம். ஆக மொத்தம் இவர்கள் சம்பளமே 40 கோடியாகிவிட்டது. மிச்ச சொச்ச நடிகர்களுக்கும் ஹீரோயினுக்கும் சேர்த்து பத்து கோடியை எண்ணி வைத்தால் அதுவே ஐம்பதாச்சு. அதற்கப்புறம் ஷுட்டிங், விளம்பரம் என்று கணக்கு போட்ட தயாரிப்பாளர், உச்சந்தலையில் ஃபேன் விழுந்த மாதிரி ஆகிவிட்டாராம்.
ஒரு விழாவில், ‘என்னதான் சம்பாதிச்சாலும் நாலு இட்லிக்கு மேல சாப்பிடவா முடியும்? ’ என்று தத்துவம் பேசிய பேராத்மாதான் நம்ம முருகதாஸ். ஹ்ம்ம்ம்… வாழ்க்கையே ஸ்கிரீன் ப்ளேவா போச்சு!
Salary demands make producer anaemic!
It is quite common in film industry in general and Kollywood in particular that whenever someone seeks a favour will get hitched when asked to cough up double what he asked for. It does not stop with people who boast of doing good thing to people. One such incident happened in Kollywood recently.
A producer who after a disastrous journey was limping back to gain his foothold in the industry, made a request to director AR Murugadoss if he could help him to produce the film he intends to do with Vijay. The director has agreed to help him. This happened few months ago when the film proposal was on the verge of finalisation.
Now Vijay is ready to take up Murugadoss’ project and work is progressing towards that swiftly, when the producer came back to the director to confirm his production assignment for the film. The response from the director and the actor was such rude shock – a bolt from the blue! It will be so for anyone who is in producer’s place. What did they say to get such a shock?
The director has demanded a salary of Rs.18 crores and the star (read Vijay) has announced the hike in his salary to Rs.22 crores after the recent success of Jilla. Which means, the salary for both constitutes 40% of the total budget (if it is assumed to be Rs.100 crores)
